For March next year, Ducati is ready to launch its new models with the help of three great champions. Muscle bikes and also e-mtbs
Borgo Panigale is preparing to welcome an important innovation in view of 2026. Ducati has in fact announced the launch of a new project which will see the development, production and distribution of a new series of bicycles. The collaboration will start with Diamant Srl, a company of the Zecchetto Group. The models will be of two types: muscle bikes (road and gravel) but also mountain bikes with electric motors (the so-called e-mtb). But it doesn’t end here, because there will be three important figures in the world of two wheels coordinating the project. The former world champion Elia Viviani, the Squalo Vincenzo Nibali and the five-time national downhill champion, Lorenzo Suding, will collaborate with Ducati.

Ducati’s presence in cycling is not completely new. Already in 2018 he had started his first collaboration with Thok, launching the Ducati MIG-RR. Then in 2022 it was the turn of the Futa e-Road bike. However, the Borgo Panigale company has clear ideas for the future: “The new range will be unveiled starting from March 2026 – we read in the company press release – offering a wider choice of models inspired by the Ducati principles of style, sophistication and performance. The project also includes a line of accessories and technical clothing dedicated to each specialty, designed specifically for the new Ducati bikes”.

Elia Viviani will act as Project consultant. It means that the former world champion will concretely follow all development phases. Vincenzo Nibali, one of the seven chosen to win all three Grand Tours, will support Viviani in the development of the road range and related sports projects, with an eye on all cyclists looking for high-performance racing bikes. Finally, Lorenzo Suding will support the evolution of the e-mtb range and lend a hand in the development of mountain bikes to give a strong racing imprint, given his twenty-year experience in the saddle. To see Ducati’s new creations, however, we will have to wait until next year.
