To face the new adventure, Ducati has linked itself to nine-time Motocross world champion Antonio Cairoli: a perfect figure, in terms of talent, speed and experience, to offer fundamental support. Ducati has also tightened a multi-year agreement with Maddii Racingone of the most experienced teams in the Motocross paddock, which will become the reference structure for MX racing activities, and will take part in the 2024 Italian Motocross Championship with Alessandro Lupinoeight-time Italian Champion and winner of the 2021 Motocross of Nations. The focus of the project offroad by Ducati is a combination of research, top components and engines characterized by a very broad delivery curve, obtained thanks to theuse of the Desmodromic system, used on all the sports bikes of the Borgo Panigale company starting from the MotoGP. The entry into specialist off-road racing represents a very important strategic choice for Ducati which confirms its desire to expand its presence into unexplored terrain to date.
