At the Ducati presentation all eyes are on them, Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez. Three world titles for the Italian, two of which in MotoGP (2022 and 2023); the Spaniard has won eight triumphs, scoring six times in the top category (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). In short, a stellar couple to say the least. Presented together with the new bike, the Ducati Desmosedici GP25, in Madonna di Campiglio, in Trentino Alto Adige, the two champions told their impressions.

The first to tell his story was Bagnaia: “We are starting a season which in my opinion will be very beautiful. With a new teammate and many new teams. Over the last five years I have found a fantastic environment that has given me support. They always supported me. I feel proud seeing a strong team still growing. Lenovo team’s 13 wins in 2024 was an incredible achievement. Red suits us a lot. The bike is beautiful.” Pecco does not hide the disappointment for the 2024 defeat, but looks to the future with confidence: “Last season was excellent with 11 successes. The icing on the cake was to win the title and we didn’t achieve that. I analyzed in the winter what didn’t work. We will resume with more motivation. It will be very stimulating.”

Marquez appears very excited during his first time in red: “For me the start of a new championship is a source of motivation. I hope that 2025 will be a satisfying year, in which we will fight for victories and podiums.” He adds: “It’s really exciting. I have butterflies in my stomach. I start a new project. I fought a lot against Ducati, but it brought my smile back last year. It’s nice to be here. I’m in the reference MotoGP team. We want to win the Constructors’ title, we have to work together well. If Pecco doesn’t win, I win and vice versa. We’ll see at the end of the year where we will be in the standings.” The 2025 of dream team has officially begun.
