Dua Lipa has now officially confirmed her love luck: the singer is engaged to actor Callum Turner (35). Speculation about the engagement had already arisen last winter when the 29-year-old had shared some photos of herself with a ring on social media.
“I’m totally in love with him”
The news about the engagement of Dua Lipa overlaps with the cover interview for “British Vogue”. “Yes, we are engaged,” said Dua Lipa beaming. “It is something very special – the decision to grow old, to shape life together and to be the best friends forever.”
Callum Turner had the ring made especially for her – in close consultation with Dua’s sister and her closest friends. “I’m totally in love with him. He is the same as I wanted him. It is nice to know that the person with whom you spend the rest of his life knows so well,” said the singer. Also on her Instagram account she shared a picture that the couple showed and wrote “That’s Amoreee” (“This is Liebeee”).
Dua Lipa is engaged: “I never thought about getting married”
However, there is so far a wedding date for the celebration. Dua Lipa is currently busy with its Radical Optimism Tour, which ends in December, and Callum Turner is in the filming for the new Apple TV+ series “Neuromancer”.
“I want to end my tour, Callum is busy – so we just enjoy this time,” said the singer afterwards. “I have never been someone who thought about getting married or what the dress would look like. And now I wonder for the first time: What would I actually put on?”
The two came together in January 2024 after they came into contact with each other a few years earlier in a Café in London. Since then the couple has been in public numerous times.
Dua Lipas “Radical Optimism” tour and new songs
However, Dua Lipa must first complete your full tour schedule: Next week there are two concerts in the London Wembley Stadium (June 20 and 21), followed by two shows in the Angeldd Stadium in Liverpool (June 24 and 25). The concerts support their third studio album Radical Optimism.
