On Tuesday evening, a 33-year-old attacked a 24-year-old with a wine bottle on an S46 line at Hermannstraße station.
As the federal police announced on Wednesday, witnesses dialed the emergency call around 9:30 p.m. Forces then provisionally arrested a 33-year-old Yemeni national at Hermannstrasse station.
As the witnesses told the police, the man is said to have previously hit the 24-year-old on the head with a wine bottle after she was said to have changed places due to the man’s smell of alcohol.
The Romanian woman sustained a head laceration. Rescue workers took her to a hospital, the federal police said.
The federal police initiated an investigation into suspected dangerous bodily harm against the drunk 33-year-old (2.39 per mille breath alcohol), who is also illegally staying in Germany. He is also said to have behaved aggressively towards the police officers.
