A working drug lab where flakka was made was discovered in the house at the De Witte Plas campsite in Schijf that the police raided on Monday. The police reported this on Tuesday. Two men aged 32 and 36 from Sint Willebrord have been arrested.
Officers actually responded to a report of animal suffering on Monday morning, but responded to a chemical odor in the house where they had to carry out the inspection. When they went inside, they were stopped by a man. The 32-year-old man was immediately arrested for obstruction.
Zombie drug
Once inside, the officers smelled the strong chemical odor even better and during a search found a large amount of flakka. The house also contained a working production site for the zombie drug.
A 36-year-old man was also present in the house and was arrested. The flakka has been confiscated. Specialists from the National Dismantling Facility (LFO) came to the campsite to dismantle the drug lab. This happened late in the evening and all items used in the lab were removed.
