A barn on the Coevorderkanaal in Coevorden is closed by order of the mayor. A hemp farm was found here on December 4 with 400 plants.
The barn is closed for the three -month period from today. The closure is intended to put drug crime in the building.
“In this way, a safe living environment can restore and the fame as a place in the drug circuit can be broken. This greatly reduces the chance of illegal activities in the building,” the municipality of Coevorden says.
