Around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, a Renault and an e-scooter collided at the corner of Karl-Marx-Allee and Andreasstraße.
A 19-year-old e-scooter driver was seriously injured in the traffic accident in Berlin-Friedrichshain.
The young woman turned left with her electric vehicle at an intersection and collided with an oncoming car, the police said on Wednesday.
According to the police, the scooter driver probably drove over the traffic light when it was red. The young woman was taken to hospital with head injuries.
