The police seized five driving licenses in the vicinity of the TT Circuit today. The motorists were able to hand in their pink pass after driving too fast on the A28, the police reported.
The Deutsche Autofest and Bimmerworld took place on the circuit today. The fast cars there apparently inspired to tear it up on the highway, where the police held speed traps.
The highest measured speed (after correction) was 221 kilometers per hour. In addition, speeds of 141, 153, 160 and 180 kilometers per hour were measured.
