Driving license AM: costs, procedures and timing of the 14 year license

It is also known as a driving license and for many children it is one of the first steps towards independence. Minicars and quads, therefore four-wheeled vehicles, can have a manual or automatic transmission and must not weigh more than 425 kg in running order. The power remains fixed at 4 kW for quads (with an open cockpit) and rises up to a maximum of 6 kW for quadricycles with a closed cockpit such as minicars. The displacement remains unchanged for vehicles with controlled ignition, while for those with spontaneous ignition the limit is 500 cc. Carrying a passenger is permitted only in approved vehicles and only if the driver has more than 16 years.

To access the AM license it is necessary to undergo a psychophysical suitability examination. Once you have obtained the medical certificate, you must submit the application form to the DMV TT 2112also available online on the motorist portal, together with the valid identity document and the tax code. Regarding costs, you must present the receipt of payment of the fee N067-Rights of 26.40 euros and the tariff N019-Stamps of 16 euros for the theory exam. The practical exam

At least one month after passing the theoretical exam, the candidate will be able to register for the practical test, for which he will also have to bring a document and the original pink sheet. The candidates minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The exam lasts 25 minutes and takes place in two phases. The first requires the execution of some maneuvers such as the slalom, the figure eight, passage in a narrow corridor and braking. The second part consists of driving on the road.
