A motorist was injured on the N33 near Assen this afternoon. The driver lost control of the steering wheel for unknown reasons and collided with the guardrail.
The driver became trapped in the car and was freed by the fire brigade. The victim was taken to hospital. Due to the accident, the road in the direction of Gieten is temporarily closed.
