The Belgian designer Julian Klausner presented his first men’s collection for Dries van notes on Thursday during the Paris Fashion Week. The spring/summer collection 2026 (FS26) reinterprets classic elements of the men’s wardrobe.
The Spanish brand Camperlab, the experimental offshoot of the shoe manufacturer Camper, made its debut in Paris with a simple presentation of her streetwear line.
“I had classic parts in mind, basics from the traditional men’s wardrobe,” Klausner told the press after the show celebrated by the audience.
“I thought about the difference between formal and casual: What makes a piece of clothing formal or casual? How can I upgrade casual elements or weaken formal? That was the core of my considerations,” said the designer.
This was shown in controlled volume on the catwalk: trapezoidal coats, silk trench coats, boxer shorts and mini shorts. In addition, there were tight-fitting tops with a submarine neckline or shoulder pads, which Klausner interpreted as an evening wear for men.

The color palette was striking: strong red, bright pink, deep blue, green and orange in the style of the 1970s. Stripes, various prints and glittering pearl embroidery supplemented the collection.
“I wanted prints, embroidery and bright colors for this men’s collection,” summed up Klausner. “I designed them happily and spontaneously and exhausted the combinations of fabrics and colors to the extreme.”
The waist was partly emphasized by a knotted wrap skirt as if the models were ready for the beach, partly through a tuxedo sharp. This “very playful” accessory was also implemented in different colors, prints and embroidery.
Klausner was appointed successor to the founder Dries van Noten, who resigned last year. In January he presented a first men’s collection in Paris, followed by a much -noticed women’s collection in March.
Camperlab debut in Paris
Camperlab was founded in 2015 by Campers Creative Director Achilles Ion Gabriel to expand the experiments with lines and materials from the parent company to the entire clothing.
With a focus on affordable prices, Camperlab presented wide jeans with geometric patterns, chunky sneakers and sleeveless T-shirts on the Fashion Week.

The show was unisex. Accessories such as sports bags made of synthetic leather, which imitated exotic skins, were combined with an ensemble of short, waisted jacket and pants in red and sand tones.
