Lukkien agreed and saw his prediction come true: “At the beginning of the season I predicted that we would promote with them, but it was still hanging by a thread for them.”
The trainer was brief about the match against Roda JC: “It was a good first half hour. We quickly take the lead and in the end you can call it a regular victory.” Due to the red card on the side of the guests, which fell in the first half, the field game became worse: “We were given more space and because of that you saw players make wrong choices. You can think of wanting to give the decisive pass .”
Lukkien assumes that the championship will be won in Eindhoven next week against the local FC. “That is less fun than at home, but then we make it a nice bus trip back. Hopefully the square will be just as full as last time,” concludes the trainer.
