A little boy drowned in the garden pool on Wednesday in the municipality of Beelitz, southwest of Berlin! His mother tried to save the two-year-old – but it was too late!
The accident happened, according to “t-online.de” in the evening. A chaplain reportedly confirmed to a reporter that a small child drowned in the pool.
“Those affected are doing poorly, given the circumstances,” the pastor told the reporter. “There was a lot of sympathy in the neighborhood.”
According to the information, the mother discovered her lifeless child in the water and was still trying to revive it. Alarmed rescue workers took over, but they too could do nothing more for the boy.
They tried everything for about an hour, but in vain.
The exact circumstances of the accident in Beelitz are still unclear. The pool should be a round, erectable swimming pool with a waist-high parapet. The police has started investigation.
