Drama for Quinty Trustfull’s nepobaby: ‘Worse than Avastars’

Quinty Trustfull’s daughter causes a viewing catastrophe. Luck in an accident: her show Downhill has started so badly that the score can hardly go downhill anymore.

They’ve been popping up like mushrooms lately: fake babies. Where Oprah Winfrey handed out cars during an iconic TV moment (‘you get a car, you get a car!‘), the famous Dutch are now treating us, in the same fanatical way, to an entire battalion mini mes. Quinty Trustfull also puts her daughter forward.

Catastrophe for Moise

Moïse Trustfull knows how to make a good career thanks to her well-known surname, but it is not yet a great success. She started a gum brand-sponsored program on Veronica with JayJay Boske yesterday: Downhill. Full on prime time, at half past eight in the evening.

Downhill, in which unknown Dutch people scantily dressed down a snowy mountain, started with 63 thousand viewers and a 1.7 percent market share. What is that called in technical terms? “A huge viewing figure catastrophe,” explains viewing figure expert Tina Nijkamp to her analysis channel.

Half of Avastars

This is something to cry for all parties involved, says Tina. “That is slightly more than a full Johan Cruijff Arena and comparable to what Goud Zuid scored and half of Avastars. What a nightmare for everyone involved AND the sponsor Sportlife. Still, a very low score was to be expected.”

Tina already predicted this last night. Then she wrote: “Never before has a program that takes place in the snow scored in the summer. It’s a bit like broadcasting the most beautiful Christmas decorations in the Netherlands in August. Will this show score? No, I don’t think so. What is this? What am I looking at? What is the goal? Why?”

Bad program

This program produced by Stacey Rookhuizen (of X Factor fame) is just bad, says Tina. “Going off the slopes in summer clothes is not reflected at all in the type of assignments, music is much too loud, it is unclear what they are fighting for, delivery stops in the middle of the assignment, etc, etc. The whole thing is completely wrong.”

She concludes: “Which star manager advised Moïse Trustfull to do this? Giving a starting presenter a new program is so incredibly risky. Just ask Marieke Elsinga.”

Nepobaby

This is Moïse’s first adult presentation job, but it doesn’t impress her at all. And that while she has an enormous urge to prove that she is more than a fake baby.

Moses in The Telegraph: “They have now coined that term again, I hate it. If you do something and you do it well, why should you be judged by the fact that your parents do the same? If I couldn’t do it, I wouldn’t be asked.”
