While Young Thug is serving his sentence, Drake stars in the clip for their track “Oh U Went”.
Young Thug’s third studio album BUSINESS IS BUSINESS was released on June 23rd. The single “Oh U Went” has now been released on YouTube with the music video. The track is a shared feature between Young Thug and Drake. The rapper, who became known in the noughties through the Canadian television series “Degrassi: The Next Generation”, can also be seen prominently in the accompanying video.
The video for Oh U Went is directed by Nick Manterola and Garfield Larmond Jr. Young Thug, who is still incarcerated in the US state of Georgia for gang crime, gun possession and drug trafficking, cannot appear in the music clip for the reasons just mentioned – and so Drake becomes the center of attention when watching the moving material.
BUSINESS IS BUSINESS was Young Thug’s first major release since his arrest in 2022. Alongside Drake, the album also features Future, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert and Travis Scott.
Drake, who is currently touring, has recently released a book of poetry and announced a new album.
