In a collision between a coach and a truck in the southern Mexican state of Tabasco, dozens of people were killed on Saturday. Reuters news agency writes about 41 dead, local media at least thirty report. 48 people would have been on the bus – passengers and drivers. The driver of the truck would also have died.

The Acosta Tours bus company wrote on Saturday On Facebook That there is cooperation with local authorities “to get clarification about the facts.” At the time of the accident, the bus was ‘in optimum condition’ and the driver drove with ‘moderate speed’. The truck, which drove on the other side of the road, would suddenly have started to ride a ghost.

Videos and images on social media show that the bus has burned out, only the metal frame is still standing. In Mexico there are regular deaths in bus accidents. Last October 19 people died when a bus collided with a released truck trailer. In December eight people died in a collision between a bus and a truck.
