Good travel insurance alone is not enough. Being careful yourself remains necessary. This was noticed by a holidaymaker in Thailand who, after a jog, noticed that expensive items had disappeared from his rental car. His claim for more than 4,600 euros was rejected by travel insurer Unigarant.
