The Douglas perfumery chain has also felt increasing consumption retention in an uncertain economic environment in the second business quarter.

Corporate sales decreased by two percent to 939 million euros in the three months to the end of March, as in the SDAX Noted companies announced on Thursday. In addition to the purchase of buying, the customer had a negative effect: the Easter fell into the third business quarter.

Before interest, taxes, depreciation (EBITDA) and adjusted for special effects, the turnover remained 122.4 million euros and thus a good 16 percent less than a year ago, while analysts expected a major decline. The bottom line was reduced from a good 41 million to 19 million euros.

The company confirmed the annual targets reduced in March. When it comes to sales, Douglas expects a slight increase to around 4.5 billion euros. Of these, 17 percent should get stuck as adjusted EBITDA.
