The 1st FC Heidenheim is still in vain in the Bundesliga in search of a glimmer of hope in the relegation battle. The team of coach Frank Schmidt lost their home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach with 0: 3 (0: 2) on matchday 24 and, after only two points from the past eight games, is as table-17. Keep it up deep in the table cellar.

The defeat “Was violent, is violent and also deserved in height”said Schmidt in an interview with the sports show. Two things were met, “A high error rate and a high quality of the opponent when using the opportunities”. Gladbach’s coach Gerardo Seoane found that his team “Good in all phases” was and praised the “Tariety stability” of his players.

Robin Hack (8th) and Nathan Ngoumou (18th) had brought Gladbach comfortably in the lead. Heidenheim only became more active in the second half, until Hack (59th) made his second goal for the decision – and the team of coach Gerardo Seoane reported back in the fight for European places.

The views in Heidenheim were primarily aimed at two players of the guests. After the failures of the injured Moritz Nicolas and the red-locked Jonas Omlin, 18-year-old Tiago Pereira Cardoso came to his Bundesliga debut in the Gladbach Tor. In addition, national striker Tim Kleindienst returned to his old place of work in summer.
