Heavy crash late Thursday evening in Steglitz! There, a double-decker bus crashed under a bridge, the roof ripped open halfway.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. on Bergstrasse. According to initial findings, there were four injured, including two seriously injured, said a police spokesman. According to BZ information, the bus driver is said to have been injured.

There are currently 40 emergency services at the scene of the accident, the road is closed.

How the accident could have happened is unclear at this time. According to BZ information, the double-decker does not travel on this route.
