In the Begoniastraat in Assen, a delivery van went up in flames around 4 a.m. on Tuesday. The car parked next to it was severely damaged, as was a fence.
The vehicles belong to the same owner. There are suspicions of arson.
Monday evening there was also a car fire in Assen. That was in a parking lot at the shopping center on the Nobellaan.
