Dörnbach catches his second medal

Sprinter Maximilian Dörnbach won his second medal at the European Track Cycling Championships in Munich.

A day after bronze in the time trial, the 26-year-old secured silver in the keirin on Tuesday. The second German starter Marc Jurczyk finished sixth.

Gold went to France’s Sebastien Vigier, with his compatriot Melvin Landerneau completing the podium with bronze.

For the Federation of German Cyclists (BDR), it was the twelfth medal on the 200m track in the Munich exhibition halls.
