The most successful sprinter in the history of Italian skiing continues with the Venetian technical group until at least 2028: “I feel good both mentally and physically”
Two news in one announcement. Dominik Paris renews its partnership with Nordica, the Italian company that has been supplying it with technical materials for years, and automatically confirms that it will continue with competitive activity even after the Milan-Cortina 2026 Games, at least until 2028, the new deadline of the agreement with the Venetian brand. The American trip is giving Paris good results, with gradually increasing placings: 11th in super G at Copper Mountain, then 6th and 4th in downhill and super G at Beaver Creek. It confirms that the hunger and strength are still there: “Many people ask me what I want to do after the Olympics – explains Paris – I feel good both mentally and physically, and as long as I manage to stay among the best I don’t think about retiring. With Nordica there was no need for many words: they gave me maximum availability and I know that their assistance will never be lacking, the feeling with the materials has always been good and with the whole group we continually try to improve ourselves, and this gives me a lot of confidence.”

Dominik Paris is the strongest Italian downhill skier ever, for the number of victories in the World Cup (24) for the world medals (one gold and one silver, respectively Are 2019 and Schladming 2013) but above all for having written his name in the roll of honor of legendary slopes, first of all the Streif of Kitzbuehel where he boasts a historic poker of successes (3 in downhill, 1 in super G). Confirming the feeling meanwhile is Alberto Zanatta, president of Tecnica Group of which Nordica is part: “For us it is a source of great pride to know that the second most successful skier in downhill history after Klammer, a flag of Italian skiing, will also continue to be a flag of Nordica for the next seasons. It doesn’t often happen that champions of his level live an entire career accompanied by the same brand: we were with him on that first podium in the World Cup in Bormio, in December 2012, and then obviously on Streif (every time!) and we are honored to continue to be at its side there are partnerships that go far beyond a supply relationship, and the one with Domme is a human relationship based on trust and honesty”.
