The Helsinki Ice Cream Factory will sell one ice cream ball for € 5.95 this summer. The cost of two balls is € 8.30.

CEO of Helsinki Ice Cream Factory Linda Magi says that the price of the ball has previously been € 5.50. The price of ice cream is influenced, for example, by rent, raw materials, cargo and employees’ salaries, he lists.

“Now, really, all the prices have risen,” Magi says.

According to him, the prices have not received much feedback.

The new flavors of the coming summer at the Helsinki Ice Cream Factory include lactose -free cappuccino ice cream and vegan apricot ice cream.

Ingman ice cream

Penguin ice cream

Frroneri Finland owns the buildings of Penguin kiosk, but the kiosk business is provided by private kiosk entrepreneurs who determine the prices of ice cream independently.

In Helsinki, one ice cream ball at the Penguin Kiosk in Student Square costs € 5.50 and two ice cream balls € 7.50.

On the other hand, the Market Square’s Jädekings kiosk sells both Ingman and Penguin products at prices one ball of five euros and two balls of € 8.50.
