Marco Borsato has been definitively acquitted: the Public Prosecution Service has decided not to appeal in the indecent case against him. The judge had doubts about the credibility of his complainant A. and her mother Nathalie Thielen, who used to be the chairman of his fan club. She came forward with her sexual assault accusation when he fired her.

Borderlines

Trend watcher Adjiedj Bakas thinks it is scandalous that Marco has been canceled for years for nothing. As far as he’s concerned, it’s now payback time and he goes after the two ladies.

He’s late X to hear his rather strong opinion: “I believe that the Public Prosecution Service and the 2 borderline complainants owe Marco Borsato significant compensation.”

What a bummer

Many readers of NU.nl agree that Marco was canceled for nothing. “What a mistake the Public Prosecution Service has made. Spent four years on this case and have not come up with any meaningful evidence,” says one.

One Angela: “I think it is completely useless that it has waited so long and that the man is declared innocent. How is it possible that it took years and what was the evidence that was decisive for the Public Prosecution Service to formally charge him? What a disgrace on the part of the Public Prosecution Service and a waste of public money.”

Unfair

There are also people who are angry that the Public Prosecution Service is not prosecuting, including Borsato basher Angela de Jong. “Life isn’t always fair. We all know that. It’s better to be the successful singer who goes to an underage girl who is fucking in bed and sends her texts telling her to fuck herself, than that girl in question.”

She decides in it A.D: “Because he is now rising in the Top 2000 and she is getting the shit cart over her. Even the Public Prosecution Service is now abandoning her halfway by not appealing. Not fair, no. But what do you do about it?”
