Apparently the jeans brand Diesel has found a new CEO.
Andrea Rigogliosi is to take over the chief position at Diesel at the beginning of next year as soon as its competition ban expires, the industry magazine Miss Tweed reports on industry circles. This would make it the first CEO at the brand, which belongs to the Italian fashion group OTB Group, after the departure of Eraldo Poletto in February 2023.
Diesel did not want to comment at the time of publication.
Rigogliosi, according to its own information, is currently still active for the Italian luxury brand Miu Miu as Global Head of Retail and Commercial. He has been wearing this role within the Prada Group since the beginning of last year. Before that, he was active for the Italian fashion house Fendi as President Europe. He also gained around eight years of experience at the French fashion house Christian Dior Couture, where he recently headed the French market as a director.
