Anita Witzier is no longer a permanent employee at KRO-NCRV. She calls it freedom herself, but doesn’t she secretly feel like she has been dumped by the public broadcaster? “I am almost 65 years old.”
Anita Witzier’s contract was recently not extended by KRO-NCRV, which coincided with the news that she will become a grandmother. A double milestone, although one is more pleasant than the other. Anita presents it Story as a conscious choice for freedom and peace. She is now a freelancer, no longer has a boss, and can make her own choices.
Dumped really hard?
It is the standard story of the celebrity who is dumped and describes it as liberation, but how happy is Anita really about this? “I’m a freelancer now and, to be honest, I really like it,” she swears.
She continues: “I feel a lot of freedom, I no longer have a boss, I can make my own choices and I no longer have to be accountable. But I am also not a freelancer who really goes out of my way to arrange work.”
Almost 65 years
Why doesn’t Anita go to work? “I’m turning 65 this year and I don’t really want to work more than three days a week. That seems very nice to me.”
Anita mainly wants to spend the rest of her life with walking and cycling holidays. “That’s our favorite way to spend the holidays. This year we’re going for a walk. And then we’ll come back fully recharged and we can prepare for the arrival of my first grandchild.”
The KRO-NCRV undoubtedly wishes her a lot of walking pleasure…
