There was a struggle over Friedrichstrasse like no other street in Berlin. First cars were banned, then they came back, were banned again, only to roll through there again. Something similar is now blooming on Singerstrasse. It, too, is to become car-free, but there are protests.

What do you think of cycle streets and the like?

In our previous question of the day, we wanted to know if you have an allotment garden. 56 percent of all survey participants are actually happy pipits. 25 percent don’t have one, but would like to have one and for 19 percent of the participants an allotment garden is nothing.
