Kari Keto already has a 30-year career in television and movies.
Kari Ketos, 54, has been seen in front of the camera for thirty years.
The actor has become known to the general public, among other things, for his work that appeared in 2004 Pelican Manfrom the movie. Ketonen played the main character of the film, the Pelican Man himself.
– There was something ancient about it. It has been remembered by many, Ketonen recalls the successful film from 21 years ago in an interview with Iltalehti.

In the movie Pelican Man Among other things, Ketonen was seen eating whole fish with tails for days. Ketonen says that salt herrings were used in the filming.
– It was so salty that it made my mouth dry in a second, the actor recounts his memories.
Actually, of course, Ketonen didn’t eat the fish whole. In fact, he didn’t swallow a single herring on set.
– We had two herring, whole and just the tail. First I put a whole one in my mouth, then we cut to a closer shot where I had just the severed tail in my mouth, which I sucked into my mouth.

Bucket list
Pelican Man since, Ketonen has reaped success in, among other things, his title series Ketonen & Myllyrinnein the comedy series Elastic mixed Credit officer– and Heroes of the Arctic Circle in the movies. What kind of roles would the actor like to play in the future?
– My neck pouch swells every year, so maybe Pelican Man sequel next, Ketonen answers and strokes his neck from the beginning.
He singles out Ketonen as one of his most significant roles The Curse of Misery -series, which premiered at the beginning of this year.
– It was such a bucket list project. In it, I had a significant role written for me as the central character. Niklas [sarjan ohjannut ja käsikirjoittanut Niklas Lindgren] with, we plotted a lot of scenes and the story together. That project left me with the feeling that I could still do things like this. After all, they are always heavy, they take a lot of weight, says Ketonen.
During the last year, Ketonen has kept busy with the one that will be released in February Creditor movie: Rest vacation. Everyday life also includes work as a coach and speaker.
Ketonen also has one of his educations as a psychotherapist at an upper special level, but he is not doing therapy work at the moment. He still gives his advice to people constantly.
Next spring, Ketonen will be seen in MTV’s new sketch series Thank God, you came! as a judge.

Running hobby
In addition to everyday work, Ketonen says that he has recently returned to his old hobby: jogging.
– I have taken it very lightly. I go jogging around Töölönlahti once or twice a week.
Ketonen says that running is difficult for him.
– For half an hour, I try to keep running most of the time. I would like to be able to run lightly and I hope that it will improve a bit, says the actor.
