Mini-skirts and fringes 60’s
Short mini skirts and dresses were established as an iconic trend in the 1960s. The new, youthful style also conquered Finland’s summer streets.

Jeans., The disco and festivals’ 70s
The big decade of the disco brought with it the widening trouser legs, knee-length and long skirts and denim ducks.

The Finns also gathered in full festival areas. The festival dressing at the beginning of the decade is reminiscent of the 1969 Woodstock Festival Hippie style.

At the barracks, the young people packed for festivals to listen to their favorite bands. The hair was spectacular and strong eye makeup fascinated representatives of the Culture style.

Minimalism and grungen 90s
There were also many styles in the 90s. Neutral and minimalist outfits lived alongside the rebellious grunge style.

Still a trendy zero
The fashion of the 21st century has also been a super trend in dressing in recent years. Capri pants, mini skirts and off-road pattern were buzzing on the streets of Finland.

In the 2020s, traveling back in time
Dressing trends go in cycles, and often the styles of past years or decades return to dress later. Even today, it is easy to spy on many references to former summer clothing choices.
