Do Lions get super reinforcements from the NHL? Jukka Jalonen keeps the door open

The Lions have one preparatory match left before the World Cup when the team faces Sweden in a match in Stockholm on Sunday.

After that, the Lions team will be released for the World Cup, but the head coach Jukka Jalonen said the national team management is still following the games of different teams around the world.

– Yes, we’re still watching them. Will anyone come, its time to show. Of course, nothing can be counted on a player who is not here. Yes, that team is always the one who is there and if someone comes then they will. But it’s not worth anticipating things at all, Jalonen said after a game in the Czech Republic on Saturday.

Wholesale Finns will play in the final series of the Swedish SHL. Gold is fighting Luleå Sami Lepistö, Julius Honka, Juhani Tyrväinen, Olli Nikupeteri mixed Joonas Rask and Färjestadin Jesse Virtanen.

The match score is 3-2 for Luleå.

In the NHL playoffs, the situation in Nashville Predators in particular is precarious. Predators are playing Mikael Granlund, Hair Saros and Eeli Tolvanen, although Saros has been injured. Thus, Saros can be counted out of the Lion with almost 100% certainty.

But it could just as well be that the Lions World Cup team is made up entirely of the players who are currently involved in the camp.

– Even if someone’s games run out, there could be injuries or whatever. Unable to predict in more detail, but yes we are still watching the games of other teams, Jalonen answered the question about SHL and the playoffs in the NHL.

The AHL playoffs are also still underway.

According to Jalonen, the current team has “some place open” that players are struggling with.

– There are a lot of moving parts, but little by little it is starting to clear up, and that’s why it’s the first game in a week at the World Cup. So things have to be pretty clear.

A game of chess

Saturday’s Finland-Czech Republic was an accurate puck game, with no fights at the finish line. It might be a while before the fans see the fans of Jalonen again, in order to put the ball in the net. Finland lost 1–3.

– Yes, a million were pulled there. Everyone must have had everything in play. They both played that kind of puddle in a big trough … Someone wants to be attacked all the time, no matter where the puck is, and then we would play ourselves out like bottle sessions, Jalonen said.

Jukka’s last name then started as the head coach of the Czech Republic Kari Jalonen, and the team has given up an endless vertical game. Jukka Jalonen’s Lions, on the other hand, won Olympic gold with durable defense and efficient finishing of reinforced concrete.

Thus, this time on the field, there were two teams trying to both attack and defend with a close five.

– Efforts were made today to protect the center and keep the opponent in a few goals. That’s why the game probably isn’t always what some might want to see – that’s going from end to end a million, happening all the time and both having 45 finishers. Now the finish spots are close to ten. Both we and the Czech Republic have made such a choice in terms of the way we play.
