The Hamburg DJ and former X Factor judge was seriously injured by a drunk driver.
The Hamburg DJ Jerome was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Tornesch, Schleswig-Holstein and is currently in hospital. The 41-year-old became known through his guest judge appearance on the TV show X Factor, which Scooter frontman HP Baxxter helped him achieve.
According to media reports, Marcel-Jerome Gialelés, known as DJ Jerome, was standing at the trunk of his car when an drunken 22-year-old driver rammed his car head-on and pushed him into a tree. He was trapped between this and the rear of his car and had to be freed by the fire department. According to police, the 41-year-old suffered extremely serious injuries and his life was in danger.

He has now been stabilized in hospital. His girlfriend posted a message on his with his management Instagram page. According to their statement, there is no longer any danger to life, but all live performances will still be canceled for an unknown period of time.
