On Monday afternoon, a dispute between two women in a discount store in Kreuzberg escalated to such an extent that one of the two women had to be treated by paramedics.

According to the police, a girl (5) accidentally ran into a customer (45) at around 1:45 p.m. in the branch on Gitschiner Straße. She is said to have racially insulted the child.

When the girl’s mother (37) intervened, the older woman is said to have insulted her mother. The 37-year-old then took a can of hairspray from the display, threw it at the opponent and hit her in the back.

When the 45-year-old turned to mother and daughter again, the mother is said to have picked up the hairspray and hit the 45-year-old in the face with it!

The 45-year-old suffered a laceration and was treated as an outpatient on site by rescue workers who were alerted.

The further investigations into the mutually reported complaints of insult and dangerous bodily harm have been taken over by a specialist commissariat of the police state protection at the State Criminal Police Office.
