Once upon a time… there was a big crack in one of the windows of the Efteling Museum. Last week someone smashed the window of a display case containing old Efteling props, such as the dancing shoes and a frog from the old fountain. The vandal was unable to take any of these treasures, because the window was not completely broken through.
The Efteling Museum on Anton Pieckplein in the amusement park contains various items that have been collected over the years. Old props, sketches from famous designers and even part of the old Python roller coaster. In the Wonder Depot room, the window of a closet has been shattered. The Wonder Depot looks like an old junk attic full of historical items.
There is now a large crack in the window, but it was not possible to shatter the window. The crack has now been covered with cardboard. According to Loopings.nl, employees of the amusement park think they are certain that it is a theft attempt. A spokesperson for Efteling cannot confirm this. She only lets us know that there is indeed a crack in the window and that ‘its purpose’ is not known.
