Showbiz watchers seem to agree: the reason for the divorce between Jan Smit and his Liza Plat is because there is someone else involved. Jan is said to have fallen in love with a woman who also happens to be in a relationship with someone who has Jan Smit. A bit like what they all suffer from in Volendam, so to speak. Yet Jan receives little criticism.
Cheated
It is mainly Liza who has to pay the price. She is said to be a bitch who causes panic in the village when she gets into her car. But Jan is also no sweetheart, insiders now say Story.
An eel spy in the magazine: “Jan has cheated. The whole village is talking about it. It is not the first time. He has cheated before, that was already the topic of discussion here in the village a few years ago, and now again after the announcement of the divorce.”
