Discipline problem at Bayern? Salihamidzic reacts

FC Bayern is back on the road to success. The sovereign victory in the top Bundesliga game against Union Berlin should bring some calm back to Säbener Straße. During the week, ex-professional Dietmar Hamann attested some stars had a discipline problem. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic does not want to overestimate the debate.

“I don’t deal with something like that ten minutes before such an important game,” said the 46-year-old on the sidelines of the Bundesliga duel between FC Bayern and Union Berlin (3-0) on “DAZN”.

“Bayern have a discipline problem,” Dietmar Hamann had previously criticized in his “Sky” column.

“[Manuel] Neuer skis in the risk area, [Serge] Gnabry flies to the fashion show, [Leroy] Sané doesn’t care about punctuality and since last week the coach has also been part of this illustrious group of undisciplined players,” was the harsh verdict. Hamann also alluded to Julian Nagelsmann’s verbal failure after the bankruptcy against Borussia Mönchengladbach (2: 3). .

“What Didi Hamann says: He is also an expert and of course he has to play the topics, but we have clarified everything internally. Don’t worry about it,” Salihamidzic reacted to the criticism.

FC Bayern gets calm

With the 3-0 win against Union Berlin, FC Bayern got some peace of mind.

“The way we do it is a yardstick for ourselves. We created nine or ten hundred percent chances. And that against a team that normally doesn’t allow much. We wanted to underline what our claim is,” said Nagelsmann after the game.

With 46 points, FC Bayern is still enthroned at the top of the table in the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund (also 46 points) is close on Munich’s heels. They are followed by Union Berlin (43), RB Leipzig (42), SC Freiburg (41) and Eintracht Frankfurt (38).
