Two guards would have filmed a sleeping prisoner in the Jan Yperman Hospital, shortly after his operation. On the images, which also show the prisoner, the guards make comments while they film each other. The video was then sent to a third colleague.
According to Kathleen van de Vijver, spokeswoman for the prison system, no actions have been taken to the prisoner himself. The disciplinary procedure can take up to six months.
