On December 6, 2025, Ster broadcast the latest Christmas commercials one after the other on primetime television, a first in the sixty-year history of the advertising organization for the public broadcaster. Because of the great enthusiasm, there were two commercial breaks, one immediately after the eight o’clock NOS News and one after ‘Wie is de Mol?’ and for ‘Just until here’. The event is seen as the Dutch answer to the Super Bowl commercials. The Christmas commercials are full of beautiful tearjerkers and should ultimately lead to consumers opening their wallets even faster this festive month.
