Dirty Difficult Dangerous, the film review

Dirty Difficult Dangerous is a fantastic comedy drama ✦✦✦ by Wissam Charaf with Darina Al Joundi, Ziad Jallad, Clara Couture, Rifa Attarbay.

Love as an act of resistance. The condition of migrant as an obstacle course in a complex theatre (Beirut, present day), but also as a fairy tale in which bodies change (Ahmed, a Syrian refugee, destined to become a man of metal) and where the chaos of the world takes on the contours of a dream.

“Dirty Difficult Dangerous”.

Ahmed and his beloved Mehdiaan Ethiopian caregiver enslaved by the family that employs her, are noble, poetic and sensual figures in a ruthless and absurd world (Charaf, French-Lebanese, is well documented on the reality of his country: xenophobia, organ trafficking…). A political film of great lightness: you laugh and you cry.
