In Croatia, the transfer window only closes on September 6th and therefore Dinamo Zagreb was able to strengthen again. From AC Milan, Ismaël Bennacer comes to the European League participant on loan. The Croatians also secure a purchase option for the 27 -year -old midfielder, who is now the most valuable professional in Supersport HNL.
In 2019, Milan paid 17.2 million euros to Empoli for the services of Bennacer, who wore the Rossoneri jersey 178 times and was involved in 20 goals. His season was reduced significantly last season, so that a loan to Olympique Marseille followed in the second half of the season. He reaches two templates in twelve missions. At the Africa Cup 2019, he celebrated the title with Algeria and was named the best player in the tournament.
In June 2023, Bennacer’s market value reached its peak with EUR 40 million. Five devaluations in a year and a half later he was rated 14 million euros before climbing to 15 million euros in his loan to OM. He replaces Toni Fruk from HNK Rijeka as the most valuable professional in Supersport HNL. Dinamo’s squad value has a clear plus from 55.4 million to EUR 70.4 million.
