Dilan Yesilgöz once almost signed up as a candidate for Expedition Robinson, but due to her busy work it never happened. “It’s my TV favorite.”
As an avid television viewer, Dilan Yesilgöz also regularly visits Expeditie Robinson, the adventurous reality hit of RTL 4. She has always dreamed of participating, but because of her work she cannot simply take a few weeks off. If her political career doesn’t work out, she can always run again.
Almost in Robinson
Dilan was once very close to participating, she reveals in the VARA guide. “Now, in addition to news and current affairs, reality programs are my favorite genre. From B&B Full of Love to Buying Without Looking, but also Expedition Robinson.”
We almost saw Dilan himself participating in the taste tests and strength tests in the reality show. “A hundred years ago I sometimes considered signing up for Expedition Robinson, but that never happened. And I can also watch The Strongest Man-like programs for hours. That makes me so calm.”
Regular viewer of VI
Dilan is a real commercial viewer. When asked about her favorite talk show, she mentions Today Inside. “Now, during campaign time, I naturally watch colleagues on talk shows and I am a regular viewer of Today Inside. I like the light-hearted way in which current events are treated.”
Dilan himself has also been a guest. “I was the first politician to be a guest there and I really enjoyed it. You can have a lot of differences of opinion with the men, but the way they talk is wonderful, with some exceptions.”

What does Dilan watch in terms of news? “In the morning I watch the News and Good Morning Netherlands. When there are major developments, such as now in Israel, I also follow CNN and BBC. X is the first thing I read. That is so current, although you have to carefully verify whether what you read is correct. I also have newspaper apps that I consult; then the most important matters will be dealt with.”
All in all, Dilan is a real cable sucker. “I love watching television. I often only turn on the TV for a few minutes, just for distraction. And sometimes in the background while I’m working.”
