More lightness, a new fit for athletic customers and pastels that are not kitschy: in summer 2027, DIGEL continues to pursue its goal of interpreting formalwear in a contemporary way and offering its customers maximum comfort.

Colors: masculine pastels

In addition to perennial favorites such as navy blue and white, natural tones have dominated menswear in the summer months for several seasons. These will be given a new sophistication at DIGEL in 2027: The trend color brown brings together woody tones, gray and beige come together to create new, sandy color gradations. On this basis, the creative process continues: Creative Director Ralf Kammerer: “We see masculine pastel tones for the summer, which can all be combined with each other and give the established summer tones a new, fashionable direction.”

For example, “Blue Fog”, a metallic shade of blue that looks much cooler than a normal light blue. Or “Woodrose”, a grey-tinged and trendy old pink that works perfectly for formalwear. Things finally get really fashionable with “Pastel Yellow”, a mild variant of sunny yellow that creates interesting contrasts in summer looks.

Materials: maximum comfort

Lightness has been the thrust at DIGEL for several seasons. Ralf Kammerer: “Comfort has become an integral part of menswear. There is no going back, only further development forward.” The range of “Cool Linen” is therefore being further expanded with softer fabric blends. A particularly soft mix is created by blending Tencel and linen with cotton.

The perfect combination of fabric qualities with the “Garment Washed” washing technique is a game changer when it comes to comfort. It gives jackets, shirt jackets and trousers an unprecedented wearing comfort. Fine jersey qualities round off the knitwear offering and ensure pleasant lightness directly on the body. To give looks a summery nonchalance, DIGEL is increasingly using cellulose-based materials such as Tencel and viscose. Modern casualness is created solely through their smooth and elegant fabric characteristics.

Silhouette: flowing-casual

The casual impression begins in the fabric and continues through shapes and cuts. Hybrid jackets and shirt jackets replace stiff tailoring and combine classic elements with maximum comfort. Overall, the DIGEL silhouette will be a little airier, more flowing and more relaxed in summer 2027. In the “Seasonal Separates” segment, the combinable individual items, trousers gain in width and tops gain in natural fit thanks to a reduced interior without padding and stiffeners.

Knitwear is a must-have for summer looks: short sweaters with a knitted pattern and a polo collar are among the bestsellers. Together with chinos and jersey jackets – this season with a stand-up collar, which is brand new – they form one of the key looks of the season.

For sporty customers, DIGEL is introducing the “Athletic fit” fit for the first time this season, which takes into account the changing body shapes of the, especially younger, target group. Ralf Kammerer: “Many young men today need more space in the shoulder area as well as on their trained thighs. We want to meet this with a completely revised cut and flexible outer materials.” As with the entire collection, the stated goal here is to offer customers optimal comfort and ease.
