Only eight teams are still in the race for the DFB Cup: six Bundesliga teams and two second division teams. Now the pairings have been decided.
Difficult fate for FC Bayern: In the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup, coach Vincent Kompany’s team will face RB Leipzig at home. This is perhaps the toughest task for the Munich team, after all, Leipzig is currently second in the Bundesliga. A good omen for the record champions: In the Bundesliga, FC Bayern beat Leipzig 6-0 in their home game.
The DFB Cup quarter-finals will take place on the 3rd/4th. February 2026 and on 10/11. February 2026.
