Flemish Minister of Immovable Heritage Matthias Diependaele (N-VA) reverses the decision to partially shield the lighthouse in Ostend with foil. “We cannot take away the historical light of the people of Ostend because of a few objections. The complainants knew that the lighthouse was there when they bought their apartment,” Diependaele told VTM NEWS.
