News: How is the new season of a work proven as “reverse” faces, there is more tranquility or adrenaline is the same?
Diego Cremonesi: With fewer nerves in relation to the uncertainty of how the work can come out, but that does not take away your anxiety for the result, it is a difficult time in the country, complicated for people. That the public comes to the theater is not so simple, I am expectant, but with all the desire because it is a work in which I enjoy acting. It does not always happen to find a material where you feel that you can deploy and do it with your classmates, “reverse” generates a lot of enjoyment.
News: You came to work when during the essay stage Marcelo Subiotto had to get off. Did that give less time to prepare?
Cremonesi: Yes, I had less time than the rest of my teammates because I had to get on a train that was already moving. It is a work that has a big difficulty especially from coordination, I feel that it is very circus, juggling, the timing it requires is very difficult to achieve. The action system proposed by director Matías Feldman is very demanding in terms of rhythm and you have to find how to be genuine, provide something of your own.

Cremonesi: I think that is its value. Although it meets many requirements of the commercial theater in terms of rhythm, entertainment, the duration is already short of an attractive cast, on the other hand it does not have the classic story of a lighter comedy such as those in the commercial circuit but it bothers the spectator a bit with its format and its dramaturgy. In the Independent Theater one has in favor the possibility of investigating more and it seems to me that “reverse” is quite brave because being encouraged to Corrientes with such a work implies taking a risk. It also gave us a spirit of camaraderie, the theater company, we are a cooperative and from that place there is a great sense of belonging with the material.
News: In the work he returned to work with Nico García Hume and Marco Antonio Caponi, how was that reunion after “El Tigre Verón”?
Cremonesi: Barbarian! I am a little for frame here, are those half magical things that sometimes occur, one day I called it on another subject and he said: “How good your call because I have a work …” They were desperate looking for replacement for Subiotto and he proposed to me. With Marco and Nico we had hit very good vibes in “El Tigre Verón”, I love both as actors. With Carla Peterson I had never worked and for me it was a pending account, I always liked what he does, Juan Istola already knew him and is a great actor, I admired him, so it is a party to get on the stage with them.
News: He has worked with people as cool as Julio Chávez, Darío Grandinetti or Alfredo Castro, however, someone like Carla Peterson at first intimidates a bit?
Cremonesi: Could be. It happened to me that with all these people that you named I started to work in a big one, having seen them a lot as a spectator, but quickly humanized. Especially a person like Carla who is great, at the human level he is barbaric, then the second already realized that I was with someone who is a couple. At the end of the year I filmed with her “The Time of the Flies”, the series that Carla stars with Nancy Dupláa, I feel her friend. News: You were “El Cuis” in “The Marginal”, the character hit a lot and also his songs. Did a music producer approach him to offer him?
Cremonesi: No, and I would like! I always have something pending with the musical, in fact Quique “El Cuis” resonated a lot because for 20 years I made a character of Café Concert called Paco Rimenver, singer and showman, with whom he has a lot in common. I always say that Paco was my patron because he gave me a morfar, banned my formation as an actor and sustained me while working to hit it. “The cuis” is a character in which I could manifest myself, I had the power to experience the horror and terror of a guy who does not belong to that place, but also had the ability to act for someone in uncomfortable contexts, something that I had made millions of times. Imagine that I acted on birthdays, marriages, fifteen parties, end of the year parties, teacher’s day and even in prisons. Paco Rimenver became in the Gorina de la Plata jail and in the Olmos, one (laughs) was not lost.
News: Is it more intimidating to act in a prison or in a marriage?
Cremonesi: Both things! Because it is very difficult to act for someone who did not pay an entry to see you, the weather can be hostile, you have to entertain them. That forms you, gives you a lot of trade and training.

Cremonesi: I tell you that one of my first works was in the Republic of Children, I made a pirate, as a father of Hansel and Gretel, with a chickens and all in a year. Living with uncertainty and lack of constancy in this trade is very difficult, but one pays that price because just the best thing to be an actor is to act, at that time everything makes sense. Cremonesi: In addition to “The time of the flies”, in Netflix, I have a series with the China Suárez that is going to be called “Daughter of Fire”, there are 22 chapters, we spent six months recording it, they are also Eleonora Wexler and Jero Bosia in the cast. It was a spectacular experience, I had a barbarian character, I want to see it, it is quite close to the classic strip, it is a new bet of platforms as a format. I have another series called “Impaptada” that took a long time, but it is from Paramount and as it left the country it was hung, with an uncertain future, it is a shame, the protagonist is Maite Lanata and for me she was very good, I do not lose hope that she looks. It is also going around a series that we made for Disney with Daniel Hendler called “Los Mofas”.
News: His wife is also an actress and have two children. Do you see any acting heir?
Cremonesi: Yes, my wife, Noe Vergini, is an actress and teacher, together we have two children of 9 and 3 years and I also have another son of 20.
