“I wanted pearls in my outfit”

The theme of the annual Met Gala this year was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”

The stars paid tribute to the late fashion designer, either by copying her usual black and white attire or by being inspired by her most stunning creations.

– I wanted pearls for my outfit, because what could better reflect Karl. I immediately thought of the iconic Chanel pearls, so I wanted to be covered in them all over, Kim described her choice of outfit on the red carpet In an interview with Hello Magazine.

During his long career, Lagerfeld made a record of designing magnificent costumes for brands such as Balmain, Patou, Chloé, Fendi, Chanel, as well as for his own brand, Lagerfeld.
