The failed change from Florian Wirtz to FC Bayern still causes hustle and bustle. Now there is a new guess why he ended up to England.

The back and forth by a possible change from Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen to FC Bayern kept the fans of both clubs busy for months. In the end, Wirtz surprisingly decided against Bayern – and switched to Liverpool FC for a transfer fee of at least 125 million euros.

As the “picture” now reports, it is said to have been a very short race around Wirtz in the end. And above all one thing is said to have given the rash pro Liverpool: Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is said to have tried very hard in the conversations, but too often mentioned the name Jamal Musiala. Means: The Bavaria coach apparently spoke of Musiala and Wirtz again and again, instead of only from the then Leverkusener and what he should move at Bayern.

The same thing is said to have handled Liverpool coach Arne Slot, who, according to the report, declared Florian Wirtz in the conversations when his clear number one in the midfield. In the end, that probably also made the decisive factor for a move to England.

At Bayern, Jamal Musiala is said to be the club’s face for the coming years. However, it was the dream of those responsible to have him and Wirtz together in a team. The idea: You should shine together as in the German national team. This plan failed, however, because Wirtz decided to take the step abroad.
