Gabriel Gledhill explained his actions.
British skier Gabriel Gliedhill;
Specialist Sami Jauhojärvi thought at Viaplay that there was a “wife candidate” in the audience.
– A smile so wide came after the eyelid, Jauhojärvi said.
Were there girls in the audience to whom you hinted?
– It wasn’t, unfortunately, Gledhill replied.
– I’m not single, so I couldn’t have done so.
Gledhill just wanted to get the viewers excited with his trick.
– When I looked at the audience, I saw the people I knew. The eye was no greater purpose than getting power from the audience and helping me to go harder.
The audience lived with emotion in the race, and tents and campfires had been erected in the woods. However, the campfires caused minor problems for skiers.
– At the distance of the track, I breathed smoke and started coughing. Smoke is not the best thing to pull in the lungs, Gledhill said.
The campers had drank drastically.
“I smelled a lot of alcohol when people leaning on the fence,” British said.
Gledhill finished 55th in the competition. Johannes Klæbo led Norway to a four -won.
