The Kijkwijzer classification of the cinema film Amsterdamned II has been adjusted. The thriller by director Dick Maas has now been given an extra icon because the film is said to contain discrimination. Distributor Splendid Film added the icon after the complaints committee of NICAM, the organization that monitors the use of the Kijkwijzer, looked into the film. Maas is incensed: “As a Dutch filmmaker you are no longer allowed to do anything.”
